Next week is set to see a decrease in global productivity... because EA Sports are dropping FC 2026! Nike are celebrating their star-studded roster alongside, as many of their players will be out in force – so they’ve cooked up a two pack of Phantom 6s to drop virtually and IRL.
The EA Sports x Nike Phantom 6 comes in Low or High form, complete with a rainbow Gripknit upper. Elsewhere, lateral Swooshes deliver a digitised look, with a metallic sheen covering the outsole.
Nike dropped their Phantom 6 boot in June this year, and have said that ‘it’s so precise, it’s scary’. Built through athlete feedback, the new Phantom 6's upper has been changed to boast a Tuned Gripknit microtextured grip, which offers players greater precision. Down below, the Cyclone 360 plate has been upgraded to enhance weight distribution.
‘If there was one thing that I could ask a pair of boots to help me improve, it would be the precision to score more goals,' Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, said of the model back in June. 'I feel like this Phantom allows me to do just that: shut off all distractions and focus on nothing other than attacking.’
You can expect the two physical versions of the EA Sports x Nike Phantom 6 to land on September 29 through Nike’s usual channels, and to arrive virtually (in-game) soon after the release of FC 2026.
