The Air Jordan 13 ‘Chicago’ Is Officially Returning

While 2026 is still a few weeks away, we already have a pretty good idea of what roster is set to look like. There’s over to land, including a batch of that includes the and of course, ‘Chicago’. Following leaks circling around this ‘True Red’ iteration, official imagery has landed, which means that these AJ13s are a go!

The Air Jordan 13 ‘Chicago’ is one of the OG colourways that launched in 1998 and was legendarily worn on court by himself. There was even an MJ game-worn-and-signed pair that sold for big dollars back in 2016. The first true retro of the ‘Chicago’ arrived in 2010, followed by 2017 and now 2026 – we don’t count the 2005 Low version.

This particular colourway of the Air Jordan 13 actually hosts many names, with the most prominent being ‘Chicago’, which started during the last retro cycle. When these bad boys released in 1998 they were dubbed ‘White/Red’, before adopting the ‘Cherry’ moniker. Another acceptable title is simply ‘True Red’, after the tone that adorns the upper and midsole.

With official imagery landing in grade school sizing, the rumoured return of the Air Jordan 13 ‘Chicago’ is confirmed. Currently, Jordan Brand haven’t locked in any info, but word on the street is that they’re launching March 13.
