You Can Only Taste the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 1 ‘Cotton Candy’ at JD Sports

In case you haven’t been paying attention to the sneaker news cycle, the franchise is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and there’s been a slew of drops to celebrate. have of course been bringing the party every week, with a plethora of heater packs like the eye-popping and the serene – but this latest two-stack of GEL-QUANTUM 360 1s may be the most delicious yet.

These fresh JD-Exclusives are crowned the ‘Cotton Candy’ Pack, thanks to the pristine pink hue that adorns both pairs. The first in the collection boasts a mostly pink makeup, with the namesake tone on the upper and GEL-injected midsole. Points of contrast come through on the sole and Tiger Stripes. The second iteration takes an alternate approach, with a white upper and subtle hints of pink on selected accents as well as the midsole. The pairs share the same construction, with signature fabric upper and fused eyestay panels alongside a full-length midsole filled with the iconic ASICS GEL tech.

These honeys have some history. The GEL-QUANTUM 360 1 silhouette is the OG model in the QUANTUM line, originally landing in 2015 as the first-ever model ASICS gave a full-length visible GEL midsole. The initial build took three whole years to develop, and pulled inspiration from biology – the structure of the 360 1 was imagined as a bone, and the midsole cushioning as meat or muscle.
