partnership with has hopped to new heights with the reveal of the star's first true signature sneaker – the BadBo 1.0. After flipping classics into cult hits, Benito finally gets his own blueprint – and it's loaded with throwback hoops energy.

Taking cues from the adidas series, it also looks like the BadBo 1.0 shares some DNA with other 90s hoopers, including the and – think geometric overlays and angular panelling. Yet there’s also some of that early-2000s skate heft: padded tongues, fat collars, and a solid midsole stance that wouldn’t look out of place in a or catalogue.

Eagle-eyed sneakerheads first spotted the mysterious silhouette months ago, in visuals tied to Benito's DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS campaign and the ‘BOKeTE’ video, where glimpses of a mid-cut build hinted at something bigger brewing. The official reveal came later at The Archive exhibition in Puerto Rico, where the sneaker appeared behind frosted glass amongst more than a hundred of the musician's past adidas collaborations.

For those not paying attention, Bad Bunny’s partnership with adidas continues to evolve at a rapid rate (insert your own 'mating like bunnies' joke here). What began in 2021 with the Forum Buckle Low ‘ – a caramel-toned remix fitted with Benito's trademark double tongue and buckle strap – quickly grew into a string of fan-favourites releases like the pastel blackout ‘Back to School,’ and Puerto Rico-inspired ‘Cangrejeros de Santurce.’ Most recently, his coastal Indoor pairs carried his storytelling to new shores. The BadBo 1.0 now feels like the natural next step – a signature sneaker born from years of building his own adidas universe.

Currently, we’re expecting a Spring/Summer 2026 launch, but keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
