Brazil and USA Get Flag-Flavoured ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1s

As we trot closer to the 2026 FIFA – to be held June 11 to July 16 next year – the flag-flavoured celebratory footwear is getting juicier. Of course, it's the which are carrying the product motherlode: there's the apparel-heavy x (featuring a must-cop HRMY), the four-pack (repping Argentina, France, Mexico and Portugal), and the wild +F50 Tunit featuring all-over printed graphics. Not to be left out in the rain despite no official affiliation, have just dropped a two-stack of GEL-Kayano 12.1s, both of which make ample use of the model's dynamic lines to bring the the USA and Brazilian flags to on-foot life.
First up – get a load of that gold and green. The 'Brazil' 12.1 lays down black wide-mouthed mesh as its base. The lush forest-green of the flag's field stampedes across the uppers, with streaks of gold and the starry sky's silver at the toe and on the Tiger Stripes. The flag's deep blue disc is given a light twist, assigning a sky-blue pop to the lateral heel branding and infusing the midsole's dual GEL-tech inserts with the same striking shade.
The 'USA' brings the Star-Spangled Banner's crisp brand of cool to the silhouette, with bright white on the base mesh and navy blue on the collar, eyestay, toe overlays, and the Tiger Stripes' perimeters. Blood red hits select detailing on the overlays, tongue, lateral heel branding and the midsole's bouncy GEL. Lastly, celestial silver sweeps over the Stripes and tongue patch.
Whether you're shouting 'Olé' or 'U-S-A' come 2026 Cup time, both of these pairs are looking tasty – and who knows? There might even be more flag-themed Kayanos in the pipeline.
The ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 'USA' and 'Brazil' are out right now on the ASICS site, each with a sticker of $180.
