Metalwood Studio Team With adidas for Soccer-Inspired Linkup

Metalwood Studio and have linked up for 2026, and the result is anything but country club-friendly. Teased for insiders during Paris Fashion Week in 2025, the LA-based disruptors are taking their anti-establishment golf ethos global, reworking adidas icons for the fairway, the football pitch – and the streets.

Leading the pack is the Sala, which gets a wild makeover. Out goes the standard performance build, and in comes shaggy suede with glossy leather hits on the Three Stripes and heel. The deep burgundy and black palette brings a touch of pitch-perfect sophistication, and the indoor soccer DNA is still intact.

Metalwood Studio, for the uninitiated, made its name by flipping golf culture the bird – think lo-fi 90s graphics, bootleg vibes, and zero interest in the old-school dress codes. This collaboration with adidas is arguably their biggest swing yet, aiming straight at the overlap between sport, style, and streetwear steeze.

Metalwood Studio's adidas Predator Sala is arriving at their Los Angeles store on January 15, with an online release to go down on January 16.
