Nike Air Foamposite Pro 'University Blue'

are reaching back into their hard-shelled archives for another blast from the past, and have landed on the . Originally released in 2003, the model is making its return to the Beaverton campus in its ‘University Blue’ colourway.

The Foamposite shell features a matte ‘University Blue’ finish that takes colour inspiration from a alma mater. Contrasting hits of white appear on the jewelled Swoosh, eyestay, mesh tongue, and outsole, to balance out the collegiate-coloured upper. Additional accents of 'Midnight Navy' are featured on the Swoosh near the toe, as well as the heel and the carbon fibre shank plate underfoot.

This will be the first time the colourway has returned since its initial launch, which landed during one of the silhouette's most coveted eras. Foamposite collectors will recall the metallic ‘Varsity Royal’ and ‘Varsity Red’ pairs that were released in 2001 and 2002 respectively, before the 'Uni Blue' arrived. Back then, fans were lucky to see one new colour featured on the polyurethane-moulded upper each year – a stark contrast to the multitude of vibrant finishes and patterns welcomed into rotations since then. Having only just received the retro on Black Friday, OGs will be revelling in the nostalgia for the late 90s and early 2000s with this slated release.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘University Blue’ is set to drop on February 13 via Nike retailers and their website, for a retail price of $240.
