Nike's Shiny New GT Future Lands This December

GT line has never played it safe. Born from the brand’s lab-coat era of impressive innovation, the low-slung, high-tech silhouette has always looked one jump ahead – and now it’s flashing into the future.
Designed by Jason Petrie, the brand's latest release is the 'Metallic Silver', which captures the Beaverton crew's long-running obsession with performance. Built around a seamless synthetic upper, the model introduces a space-graded shine that shifts from a subdued matte tone to full reflectivity under direct light.
The surface is completely smooth – no visible stitching or overlays – crafted to capture movement and form in one continuous panel. Contrasting black accents on the outsole, tongue and liner balance the shine while anchoring the silhouette’s fluid shape.
Internally, a bootie-style construction ensures a tight fit, supported by a padded heel collar for extra stability. Underfoot, the cushioning system layers Cushlon 3.0 foam, a full-length Zoom Strobel and a forefoot Zoom Air unit, resulting in a responsive, sleek ride that blends energy return with control.
Showcased here by sneaker it-girl and Nike favourite , the GT Future first orbited onto the scene , when rapper Wale and 18-year-old phenom AJ Dybantsa debuted it during All-Star Weekend.
Expect the Nike GT Future 'Metallic Silver/Black' to land on December 6 via the Swoosh webstore.
