are the social butterfly of the sneakerverse, fluttering fluently between collaborators and spinning out gold every time. Just in the final two months of 2025, they unveiled linkups with several distinguished camps including , , , , , and of course the annual . This time the french brand are canoodling with OAMC, and while last year's colabs tended to revolve around the and as well as the and , this one arrives on a model which hasn't seen a partnership remix since in 2022: the .
OAMC is the high-end, hip-hop-meets-military-energy label founded by Luke Meier – formerly of and – in 2013. The brand's initial footwear forays produced with , but they hadn't moved much further afield until last year's with and Vans. Now that they've stretched their legs all the way over to trail lords Salomon, one glance at the XT-Quest tells you they've found a very happy groove.
Under the hood, the XT-Quest features Salomon's lauded 4D Advanced Chassis – which reduces lateral flex through a midsole support plate – and the trail-running XT-WINGS' inner contours for mega comfort. Together with its lugged ContraGrip outsole, it delivers mountain-goat traction. What OAMC have done is swap the zig-zag overlays with a more fluid, round-edged design. There's a textured panel running behind the cut-out windows, and three deliberately-placed metallic teardrops on each side. They've also, of course, blacked it out – except for the tiny 'OAMC' branding at the toe and up the lace shroud, and co-branding at the heel tabs.
Ready to get your proboscis into it? The OAMC x Salomon XT-Quest is all set to drop on January 15, and you'll need to hit up Salomon online or float like a (social) butterly to IRL partner retail spaces, bringing your $185.
