SAN SAN GEAR and PUMA Are Back Doing What They Do Best

Late last year the Seoul-based label and German sportswear giant came together to drop one of the reinterpreting the model in a luxe suede. This October, they’re doing the same, folding in the – PUMA’s latest lifestyle archival favourite.

SAN SAN GEAR began their journey in 2019 as a brand that focuses on utilitarian clothing for the urban jungle of Seoul and beyond. After only six years in business, they’ve grown rapidly and seen recognition from big names in K-Pop and the Western world’s fashion elite.

The Korean brand’s second PUMA collaboration continues their journey, and employs a new version of the and the classic Talon. The latter pair comes through donning an opulent, blacked-out material upper that looks like pig suede, with usual hard overlays. The Mostro employs the same hues and uses the Mostro Cage silhouette, featuring a roped-panel-style closure which allows the mesh, suede and midsole to shine. Rounding out both pairs is the SAN SAN GEAR branding.

The SAN SAN GEAR x PUMA collaboration, including the Mostro Cage, Talon and stacks of apparel, will release on October 31 through the Korean brand’s channels. There’s currently no word on a wider release, but keep it locked.
