Known for his meticulous hand-painting and deep storytelling, SBTG’s designs have become world-renowned, and now he brings his rebellious spirit to this latest colab. The entire silhouette is drenched in black as a callback to SBTG’s punk and skate-culture influences of the early 80s and late 90s, while full-grain leather and glossy patent overlays replace the materials typically seen on this mesh runner.

The anatomy lesson starts with white leather phalanges on the toe box, while a spinal cord on the tongue acts as the pair's backbone. The transparent Runbird logo on the lateral and medial sides allows for a clear view of the printed ribcage – perhaps the sole-separating sneakers of our past are withering away to reveal these skeletal structures? SBTG leaves it open to interpretation, then stamping his signature graphics on the tongue, insole, and heel, with additional branding spelled out on the lateral ankle.
