Wale’s special edition colourway sees the moulded upper done in a gradient of light to dark blue, similar to the shade of his Every Blue Moon label. Iridescent Swooshes are featured on the tongue and near the heel, along with contrasting hits of black on the outsole, lining, and tongue as well. The rapper’s trademark shoelace logo appears on the insoles and on a metallic hangtag that coordinates with the Swooshes.

With a spot in the campaign, an exclusive album rollout Goadome, and now his own GT Future, who knows what else Nike has in the works with Mr. Folarin. Fans’ eyes will be sticky like honey on bees for the foreseeable future.

The Wale x Nike GT Future will be released on December 13 exclusively through select Foot Locker stores in Maryland for a retail price of $200.
